Acrylic on Arches paper, 28 x 35” framed.
Zone of Reasonable Disagreement explores a hypothetical concept of “algorithmic matter” — an object born from abstract mathematical terms, put in a concrete, physical context. These suspended ghostly forms approach the surreal, asking the viewer to question its mass, volume, and dimensionality.
A selection of paintings from this series is currently available at The Compound Gallery in Emeryville, CA.
